The Southern Utah Home Builders Association (SUHBA) has been very fortunate to have the support of Ence Homes as an active member since 1984. Ence Homes has played a vital role in the health of the construction industry in Washington County.
Tracy Ence has provided support by serving on the SUHBA Board of Directors for several years and has contributed countless hours by actively participating on the Government Affairs Committee and through representation at local municipality meetings. Ence Homes has participated in every Parade of Homes since inception in 1991 and has played an important role in the continual success by building beautiful homes every year. In addition, they have supported community building projects for non-profit organizations like the Doctors’ Volunteer Clinic, Dove Center, and the Jubilee Home. Ence Homes has sponsored multiple SUHBA and community events and programs. Through their dedicated service and many contributions, the local Southern Utah housing community has benefited tremendously.
Ence Homes is recognized for its commitment to building energy efficient homes and reducing greenhouse emissions. Ence Homes has been an outstanding leader in setting high building standards in our community.
Since it was founded in 1957, Ence Homes has built more than 8,500 homes throughout Southern Utah and Eastern Nevada.
The southern utah home builders Association recognizes Ence Homes as an outstanding builder in our community and appreciates the many contributions they have made in protecting and improving our local housing industry.
Tracy has served on several SUHBA Committees and Councils, including service as the SUHBA President. He is currently serving as the Parade Chairman and the Chairman of the Storm Water Task Force. Tracy is always there when SUHBA needs him, and he and Troy have taken the company to a higher level.
Tracy is respected by his peers. While he would prefer to be working with the trade contractors and suppliers on the jobsite, as an owner of the company with his brother, Troy Ence, he must spend much more time inside than he prefers.
He is supported by his wife Leslie, 3 daughters and 1 son, Cody, who works with him in the Real Estate side of the business, and 4 grandchildren.
