Design Center

We are healthcare professionals who have many years of experience working in complex medical environments with truly outstanding people who strive for excellence each day. For more than a decade I was a consultant working with hospitals all over the country and more recently I have built three houses in Las Vegas and custom home in Southern Utah. We wanted to acknowledge the amazing job that our design specialist did to help us design our dream home. She helped us make hundreds of decisions without allowing us to be overwhelmed by the choices. She was extremely organized and methodical. We always felt that she took the time to understand our needs and at the same time kept us focused on the task at hand. We watched as an almost infinite array of choices were reduced to a series of finite decisions that resulted in a design that we both loved. We were prepared for a stressful experience and wondered if we would be talking to each other as the design experience progressed. We believed that the stress would be both financial and design-related. The financial stress was easily resolved once we prioritized our wish list. Our design specialist worked through lunch on day two to incorporate those changes into our design. The pace of the design work was fast but not rushed. We never felt pressured to make a decision and we have a lot of confidence that our home will be perfect for us. Ence Homes should be a Harvard Business School case study in excellence.

Amanda, Jody, and I both wanted you to know how much we enjoyed working with you during the last couple of days. You made the experience as easy as it could be. We appreciated that no matter what question we had, you always sought an answer for us. You made us totally comfortable during the process. You made it so that we felt we could ask any question, seek any advice, and express our true feelings without having to worry about looking foolish. We left the experience feeling as though we made good choices and will be thrilled with how our new home looks. It is because of the professional way YOU represented ‘Ence Homes’ that we selected to pay cash. I know that we both left feeling sad that we won’t be working with you while our home is being built. We also know that every product representative helped us feel comfortable and made this experience fun, exciting, challenging, and positive. Jody and I both look forward to watching our home being built through pictures and occasional visits.

She understood my situation as a single mom with one income and advocated for me in that capacity while still making sure that my home would reflect me and my daughters. She knew how anxious I was, and I felt really supported by her. I believe that she was born to be in the design center.

I just want to thank you again. You are the best. We are so excited about the choices you helped us make, and also to stay within our budget. Your ability to patiently guide us through choices is very impressive, especially with a wife with just had surgery and a husband with untreated ADHD. We were able to get everything we wished and dreamed about.

We loved working with Teri and Shirece in the design center. Teri helped us with color selection for all the things and took an interest in our lives and how we would live in the new house to create closet space, floor choices, kitchen styles, etc. She even took measurements for the hall closet to create cubbies for my motorcycle helmets. That is just one of many great examples. Thank you so much! Love our new home.

Teri and her partner in the design studio were absolutely amazing. They created a warm, welcoming space and made the day as lovely as possible. They both have such wonderful personalities, understood me and helped me make decisions based on what I shared about myself, my preferences, and my budget, and worked through my budget to prioritize and help me understand their recommendations.

Everything about my experience was amazing! I can’t say enough about how much I loved working with the people at Ence Homes. I think my favorite part of the experience was the design center and how helpful Amanda was.
